Rick Stasi serves as President of York Alternative Risk, a division of York Risk Services Group. Mr. Stasi is responsible for overall operations of York’s alternative risk programs, which includes individual, group and agency captives, and insured programs. He has 40+ years of commercial insurance experience and also oversees York’s Bermuda-based captive reinsurance company, Atlantic Gateway International, Ltd.
Before joining York, Mr. Stasi served as the Executive Vice President of Alternative Risk at Avizent. He is also a licensed P&C agent. He holds a B.S. degree in both Business Administration and Occupational Safety & Health from Illinois State University, and holds both CPCU and ALCM professional designations.
Monica Everett, CRIS
President, International Captive Consulting
Monica is the exclusive sales consultant for REnergy. She is responsible for the design and implementation of captive insurance structures. Monica holds a Construction Risk and Insurance Specialist Designation. She has over thirty years’ experience in Property & Casualty and Alternative Risk Insurance.
Monica is well-versed in both Group Captive and Single Parent Captive Insurance Programs. She was the lead broker and top producer for a very successful Group Captive Insurance Program for ten years, and has established many Captives and Alternative Risk Programs throughout her career.
Her focus is on the long-term reduction of risk and expense for clients. Monica has extensive experience in the Alternative Risk Marketplace, which has enabled her to advise clients seeking Captive, Self-insured, Large Deductible, Risk Retention Groups or Retrospective Rating Plan Insurance Programs.
Julie Brennan, CIC, ARM, CRIS

Julie Brennan has over 17 years of experience in Commercial Insurance, including retail brokerage and alternative risk programs. Over the years her client roster has included a number of industries such as Construction, Manufacturing, Radio Broadcast and Public Relations, Life Sciences, large Commercial Property portfolios and Energy (Oil & Gas and Renewables). She has over 10 years of experience in Management, and has also produced a book of Property & Casualty business of her own. Julie’s strong personal client relationships and risk management approach to protect her clients’ bottom line have led to success in creating innovative and cost-saving approaches to her clients’ risk financing needs.
Prior to her career in insurance, Julie spent over 15 years in Public Relations working for an international firm, and also as a business Owner.
Julie’s active participation in the San Diego community allows her to connect and to be of service in a number of different ways, through business and personal philanthropic efforts. She holds the insurance designations of ARM (Associate of Risk Management), CIC (Certified Insurance Counselor), and CRIS (Construction Risk and Insurance Specialist).
